This family had outgrown their villa and inherited a sloping, muddy backyard they never used. Rather than run a builder and a landscaper separately, they had us do the whole thing.
We added a light-filled rear extension with bifolds that open onto a new deck, then re-graded and retained the yard, laid a level lawn, and planted it out.
What we did
- Rear extension with open-plan living and bifolds
- New deck flowing off the living space
- Retaining and re-grading of the back section
- New lawn, garden beds and irrigation
The result reads as one project, not two — the deck height, the door sills and the landscaping levels were all set together from the start.
